WIT’s Women of the Year Technology Awards celebrate female visionaries of science, technology, engineering, arts and math, ground breakers in business and remarkable leaders who make a difference in our community. Annie won the 2018 Women of the Year award for Small/Emerging business. Since then, Annie has expanded her involvement in WIT and has most recently accepted the volunteer role of Director, Arts Programming. In this new role, she is crafting curricula for girls and women at the intersection of arts and technology.

 

The annual Small Business Person of the Year Awards pays tribute to top entrepreneurs leading their companies to success. Atlanta Business Chronicle and Metro Atlanta Chamber honor business leaders that keep Atlanta flourishing in the 32nd annual Small Business Person of the Year Awards. Annie is a 2018 finalist for Small Business Person of the Year in the Emerging Entrepreneur category. Stay tuned as the winners are announced on September 20th, 2018.

 

In March 2018, Annie won the Women in IT Awards Rising Star of the Year at the award’s gala in New York City. The Women in IT Awards series aims to tackle and redress the issue of gender imbalance, by showcasing the achievements of women in the tech sector and identifying new role models. Organized by business technology site Information Age, the awards were launched as a platform to celebrate women in technology. Annie received the 2017 Technologist of the Year Award in from the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Young Professionals Society. The One in a Millennial Awards celebrate the coming of age of millennials who are establishing their place in the technology and business communities in Georgia.  The award recognizes individuals who have already made a name for themselves in their category.
